How to remove the side fairings on a 2000 CBR-600 F4

Time required: about 10-15 minutes
Level of difficulty: Simple
Tools needed: 5mm hex key, phillips head screwdriver
I am not responsible for any damage caused by these instructions. Proceed at your own risk. I do my best to make sure they are accurate. Always wear the proper safety gear and use common sense.

1. WHITE Arrows: Unscrew the screws on the inside of the fairing behind the front wheel using the phillips screwdriver.

2. RED Arrow: Undo and open the 2 plastic retaining screws on the bottom.

3. PURPLE Arrow: Unscrew the screw on the top of the fairing by the handlebar.

4. BLUE Arrows: Unscrew the 3 bolts that connect to the front fairing.

5. GREEN Arrows: Take out the 3 main bolts, one by the foot peg, one down low and the third by the knee.

6. The only thing still holding it on should be the prong that goes into the air duct cover. Just pull it apart from it by pulling on the fairing and pushing toward the fuel tank on the cover.
